Who We Are
Sugarsand Officials Association is committed to finding dedicated, knowledgeable, and disciplined officials. The mission of Sugarsand Officials Association is to meet and exceed the needs of all officials, to educate them for future officiating needs, and be available for immediate assistance.
How to Join
If you are a new official or transferring to the area, please fill out the Recruitment Form and a member of Sugarsand will contact you. Once we have your information, we will give you details on how to register with Sugarsand, FHSAA, and any pertinent dates for upcoming seasons. There are several steps to becoming a high school sports official with Sugarsand and FHSAA.
Returning Officials
If you are a veteran official, please update your FHSAA membership and verify your information with Sugarsand.
Through the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), our association services over 30+ schools throughout South Florida.
The National Federation of State High School Associations is the overall governing body in high school athletics for the U.S.
We service AAU events through Wildfire's Florida Junior Challenge League in South Florida.
USAV is recognized as the governing body when it comes to beach volleyball at the junior level. As of the 21-22 school year, beach volleyball is recognized as an official sport by the FHSAA.
